Anxiety and panic disorder.

I have been experiencing for the last several days, severe anxiety and panic attacks. I get them when I awake and I tend to continue to worry about my weight and health. I stopped smoking weed five days ago so it might have helped some. Any advice on what I can do to overcome this situation?

The extra anxiety totally could be from the weed stoppage. Give your self time with that, I gave myself 3 days per year I smoked, helped me. Below is a partial list (most of the list is being aware you are breathing) of what helped me and maybe others:

1. Breathe

2. Tell yourself, I am okay.

3. Keep breathing

4. Understand this is a temp situation

5. Go through your issues, not around them

Wishing you the best. Remember, when in doubt, stop and take a conscious breath--I have found it nearly impossible to consciously breathe and be anxious. Know you are loved and people care about you for the simple fact you are you!

anxiety and panic attacks not good I watched a video on YouTube once the person was explaining how to deal with a panic attack she basically said do the opposite as ok come on let’s have a panic attack bring it on so to speak as standing up to a bully once you fight back the person looses that power over you as far as smoking weed yes that does play with your head and I do believe can cause mental health issues I have seen it happen to a couple of my friends worrying about your weight and your health is like sat in a rocking chair gives you something to do but gets you no where change your diet eat healthy think healthy do light excercise you will feel much better that’s what I did good luck 👍

Friend, the most important thing in this whole process is the WILL and the desire to get ahead, to try; and when you do, you realize that it is possible and that it is worth fighting to get ahead. A hug.

I’ve smoked weed on and off for years. When I stop - I get withdrawal symptoms like anxiety and panic attacks. For me it lasts about a two weeks and then my brain balances out. It’s pretty damn miserable so I feel for you!

My Dr. suggested titrate down instead of stopping cold turkey. So I started pushing back what time I start smoking by one hour every day. I used to wake and bake but now I’ve pushed it back to 1 pm and then tomorrow it will be 2 pm etc. if I don’t fall off the wagon!
