Found these for stress/anxiety

My sister in law sent me these in a care package years ago and forgot all about them until the other day- found on Amazon. They are made with plants-Cherry Plum, Clematis, Impatiens, Rock Rose, and Star of Bethlehem.

I just had one and I’m yawning. I think whether or not it’s a placebo effect I like them. They are lemon flavored. They are hardish so they last a while.

U might want to ask your doctor if U can have these with your meds. For instance, one can’t eat or drink grapefruit juice with psychotropic meds. Grapefruit will not allow the body to absorb the meds properly. Also one isn’t supposed to take Gingko Baloba as well. Be careful with the pastilles re your stomach as well. I’m here 4 U S

Hello Starrlight

It's really great to read happiness and well-being in your message.

You ask an interesting question that should be of great interest to @ElaineHU ... Does it make any difference whether what makes us feel better is a placebo or not ?

I do not think it does. We all know thah we are, based on what scientist use to sort states of being, psychologically based sick. And this psychee is so unknown that what is seen as a placebo today may be the latest trendy treatment tomorrow.

My opinion is "do not self question about that, you are OK and that is the most omportant thing in the world". Period !

BTW, I already heard that Bach Flowers are very efficient against stress and anxiety and, most important, have no side effect. I am pretty sure they work for you and I amglad you share it with us all !

Thanks for your thought message OtOFrance I feel like it doesn’t matter whether or not a placebo. But I did experience side effects it gave me stomach issues.

Hello Starrlight Are you sure those stomach issues are related to the pastilles ?

Take care

not completely sure… I think I’ll wait until my stomach feels better and try one again.

Good Morning Starrlight

I hope you had a good night, just woke up !

How do you feel today ? Have your stomach pain stopped or are they still there ?

I reckon that when we have a condition, like we do, any "unusual" pain will - consciently or not - make us worry and make the situation worse.

Please keep me updated !

Love from France

Bach Flower Remedies are a healing modality. It is something to Google if you are interested. Many people work with a Practitioner choosing the right flower essence. Sometimes it is like peeling back the onion and more than one is used over time.

I agree with Shnookie. You need to be careful with any supplements as they can interfere with other meds and/or cause side effects on their own. Just because something is all natural or plant based doesn't always make it safe.
