Does anyone else with anxiety sensitization get this tickle then have to cough then get extra phlegm buildup when they get high anxiety I saw it can cause us to want to clear the throat all the time

So do u have coughing fits when really anxious because of tight chest and then your throat tickles

Hi moggie8, it's very common for an anxious person to get that tickle in their

throat and start coughing. Our nervousness makes us produce more phlegm

than usual because our throat gets dry from mouth breathing. Then our body

takes over by having us clear our throat more often. It's all a part of the anxiety

cycle. :) xx
