try drinking some water?
Hi daisymay123, Welcome to this comforting and understanding site. I looked back at a couple of your posts and see that your doctor prescribed medication for you. Many meds cause dry mouth and throat, leaving the tongue coated white from dryness. But then again, anxious people tend to mouth breathe w/o realizing it which also causes dry mouth and throat.
As "silentwinterland" suggested, try sipping on water throughout the day. The coating for whatever reason is caused by dehydration. Feel better. I experience this everyday. xx
Thank you so much, that helps, sorry you have the same, it is the worse feeling and seems to intensify when I am anxious, I need to start looking after myself more, and I hope you feel better too xx
I deal with that too at time when my anxiety is worse, I think because I do breathe through my mouth when I get super stressed or feel like there is a lot piled on me. Try to calm or relax yourself before bed like 10 or 15 minutes, and drink plenty of water throughout the day. Hope that helps!
I must do the same, it does feel horrible, I will try that, my thoughts are with you, I know how bad anxiety gets, mine is really bad just now. we will both fight back.
Good- you're seeing a medical staff.
Hello, I have had this a lot especially when working out my mouth gets super dry or just throughout the day without water, try staying hydrated and drink plenty of water. Do you take medication? Sometimes this could be a side effect. Im sure this is nothing serious. you will be okay!
