The fish were hungry today!

Can I just ask- what have you used to cover the pond Ray ? A heron took some of our fish the other week. At the moment we only have a lightweight plastic net over it
Yes had a pond for years. Numbers vary. A heron got 2 out of the 4 we had , we got another 5. There's also a couple of baby ones. Dyls not interested.
I think Dylan is more interested in expensive veg like kale!
He would have been envious last night when we had Swede soup for dinner!
Oh yes. Only the best for Dylan 😁
Dylan is the rabbit equivalent of Baby!
Does Dylan get apples in his dish at all?
Baby is great and still getting spoilt!
Wednesday evening when I came home I received a frightening eviction notice hand delivered by the bailiffs saying that I will be evicted by them on 30 May at 10.20am!
Even though I had expected it for ages it was still a nasty shock though getting that plastic bag with the letter in it!
Quite a few of my friends have been through this as well getting the plastic bag with the date and time the bailiffs are coming to evict and have been a comfort to me!
To be fair part of me is glad to get that frightening letter off the bailiffs as I don't have to worry about it again and know the score!
This has been going on since the June of 2021 just after my father died in the April when they tried to sell the apartment block but it all fell through and I reckoned we were all going to be evicted back then and how right I was!
It's a lesson in not dismissing uneasy feelings as paranoid!
I am seeing my solicitor on Monday for a chat about sorting out temporary accommodation ASAP.
He only has a little bit occasionally as it has sugar in it. The same with carrots. I'm sorry to hear about the eviction notice. Such a nasty shock , even though it's not unexpected. I understand what you mean about knowing the score, though.
I hope you have a productive meeting with the solicitor. Will be thinking of you x🐰
I'm just glad that I have been told officially what's going to be happening than not knowing!
Yes even though I had known this was coming for ages it was still a nasty shock coming home and getting that letter in the plastic bag off the bailiffs!
To be fair I'm glad that will be the end of it all as its been really eating at me!
Had a great day today having sandwiches in the park taking advantage of the nice weather saving the usual Saturday fry up for another day as I didn't miss out on anything missing it out!
I enjoyed my swimming as well as I would rather be out doing things than sitting home sulking and becoming one of life's Victims!
Good to hear you had a nice day. Yes so much better to get out and do things. I've been struggling with hip and knee pain recently but it doesnt stop me going out. Today wasn't particularly exciting. I got a text at 12 to say they were doing a walk in covid booster clinic at the GPs so I went. At 66 I was the youngest there lol !
Today so far has been a productive day even though I was annoyed about the builders coming in at 8.30am but decided to take advantage and do some job hunting and once it was done I could forget about it!
Here you go - taken a few years ago ,
I think Pixie is too spoilt to put his paw on the pond for newts!
Babys mate Percys parents many years ago had rats in their roof and I had said to Percys mother didn't your Percy act as a deterrent to the rats but no Percy the brown and white tabby didn't lift a paw as she is spoilt like Baby and the same age as her!
I'd like to get a pond with a glass side. Maybe in the future.
Expensive Hobby !
When I was at primary school they had a pond there and I took part in making it!
