hi everyone I’m experiencing tight chest and this all happened after I was I’ll with flu , I called 111 as my gp didn’t really care and now I have been asked to go to urgent care, I’m so scared now, and it’s making my chest worse because I get so anxious about anything like this can anyone help thanks

I’m sorry you’re having a hard time. But you know what you have to do. Chest pain should not be taken lightly. Maybe do some deep breathing and meditation before you go? Do whatever it takes. I wish you strength.

Thankyou, just come from the hospital, the doctor has said it’s anxiety and he thinks I’m going through menapause , he checked my heart and my lungs and chest and all was normal

Our hormones, thyroid and adrenals can cause or contribute to panic/anxiety if they are out of balance so it could be the cause of it. Another helpful things is knowing that anxiety/panic is basically a paradox, the more we struggle and fight it the more it persists so the solution is to surrender to it and allow it to flow through and our of you. learning what is is really going on and how to constructively deal with also helps take the fear out of it, You might check out the DARE Anxiety book and youtube videos and the website/youtubes of Paige Pradko.
