This article comes from the same website, academy of ideas, that I linked to the "face your dark side" article. This one BLEW my mind!🤯

I've been on a crazy parabolic learning curve in the last year. I've had amazing growth and frustrating setbacks and incredible insights. My motivation is strong to keep learning about my issues to better heal myself so I'm not plagued by my mental health symptoms. I read this article before bed and it describes what I'm experiencing right now to an uncanny degree!

Grateful 🥲

I am practicing neuroplasticity/brain rewiring, kind of the same idea but this is for my pain.

It's amazing what the brain 🧠 is capable of if we challenge it. Stepping outside our "comfort zone" is the only way to grow 🪴

I’m learning now about positive neuroplasticity. While I knew we could create new pathways in our brains I didn’t realize how powerful it can be and how not only can we make positive changes, but through the process the neuroplasticity of the brain will cause the negative pathways to minimize. Lasting change can happen. A really basic, but profound book I’m reading now, GOOD MORNING, I LOVE YOU by Shauna Shapiro is quite inspiring. She weaves science into the long touted benefits of things we’ve been told forever. They used to sound like platitudes to me. Science is catching up, rapidly!

All my chickens DEFINITELY came home to roost. We are what we eat. Diet exercise and sleep. Cliches that youngsters can easily repeat. But they have monumental significance in achieving quality of life. Yet we spoof at these qualities and live in a broken misaligned malfunctioning society. It's no wonder I don't get along out there in the world.
