Basketball practice

I yelled at a bunch of guys at the ymca basketball training and now I'm debating whether I wanna go back today after a week and a half break. Mostly I don't feel grounded and then I get really anxious but I also wanna play basketball I think so I don't know what to do anymore.

sometimes a yell is needed to get across your message try not to worry about it and don`t let it get in the way of the Basketball.

I had some courses on group dynamics and small groups dynamics and my personal experience is that the bigger the group the more obnoxious the people. In group dynamics there is always "the odd man out" . I had to travel and work with a team of five people three years. Worst experience in my life. I learned what it means to be ostracized. It is brutal. If you have enjoyed yourself prior to the recent incident, you might give it another chance. Do a little research on group behaviors. You might find it's not you.

When I was well and healthy I competed in a lot of sports. I really only enjoy working out if it is basketball, tennis, soccer.....anything! However, my competitive spirit turns into a little bit of Johnny McEnroe. Hopefully this will make you laugh a little....I got thrown out of a country club for throwing my racket and swearing in a doubles league. Right as I was getting yanked, someone else shanked a serve really badly and the poor guy yelling at me lost a tooth with the random ball. No matter the reason for you yelling, it happens. It can happen to us anywhere at any time. I don't want you to give up something you love like basketball. If there are no other "community" places where you can find a pick up game, then I think it is worth going back. Even just one more time to affirm that you made the right decision to stay or go. However, I know it can take a lot of guts to get back out there.

If playing makes you feel good, then do it! Don't let the so and sos' grind you down!
