I very much appreciate any suggestion. Since I was a child, I have travel anxiety/panic attack like. I get really anxious and it is just for traveling and it really screws up all the fun of traveling.
Do you know of any natural or over the counter medication that can be used for immediate relief.
It is just few hours before traveling. I have no other problems in other times.

Sit quietly and slow your breathing, think about heart and slow your heart rate , drop your shoulders breathe. Repeat in your mind, you are safe, calm those frantic thoughts. I have fear of going to the doctors office. While I am waiting I do all of these things, and before they check my blood pressure. When I do this my blood pressure is nice and low, if I forget it is high. Love your heart visualize the muscles and valves, slow them down. Anxiety releases cortisol= bad. Try some melatonin, dab some lavender oil on your wrist it is calming and all you have to do is bring your hand by your face and inhale. Good luck.
I know Dramamine is for motion sickness but it makes you a little tired maybe it will help you relax. Just a suggestion not a doctor.
I found Valerian Root tincture helps calm my anxiety some, you might also try CBD, I found a tincture that also had Valerian and other herbs in it and it helped.
