hello everyone,
hope you are all doing okay.
I have a few health worries going on. I’m getting tests done so I feel I’m doing something. However, this Wednesday just gone I went around to visit one of my friends. I do this once a month. Two other friends of ours visit and we all have a good chat.
This Wednesday (15th March) I go around there. I’m told one of our group has been unwell. One of them had the stomach bug. I asked about it. She said she felt unwell onMonday. She wasn’t entirely specific but she said she didn’t feel like finishing her evening meal. She was struck with it be 4am Tuesday. She spent rest of that day in bed. However, that following (this Wednesday just gone) she comes for a visit.
Soon as I’m told this I felt like I was in a trap. I had mild panic symptoms during that time. Not sure how exposed I was. I sat at the other end of the room to my recovering friend, however, the person we visit plays host. I had accept a cup of tea from her. Thought, well it’s boiled hot anyway. I didn’t accept any food. She ‘ve bern dealing with our recovering friend. I can never been sure if our host washes her hands enough. Doesn’t seem to something people do a lot. Our host would have been exposed more than me except that I had to take something. Tea was the least worse option.
I’ve literally been waiting be slapped in the… stomach by the sickness bug. My anxiety has got me feeling hyper sensitive feeling of colour.
I live with my parents. Mum has a vomit phobia would you believe. I try to avoid this type of illness for their sakes as both are near elderly.
I’m a bit peeve by this. I wish people would stay at home for teo days after symptoms have stopped.
I’m thst I don’t get it, even though, it must have 36 hours since seeing my friends.
can anyone relate to this? Can’t talk to mum as I just can’t worry her about this 😢😤
