blood clot in legs

hey guys. I’ve been to the Drs numerous times with aches and pains in my legs and they have always told me it’s just cramp. I’ve have blood tests to check for clots and they have always measured my legs which are the same! I have no swelling or redness. My legs are overweight compared to the rest of my body if that makes sense. I’ve always had quite fatty thighs. I’ve been obsessive checking my legs and I’ve found like a “ lumpy vein “ in my thigh and my mind is going crazy. I’m not sure if it’s just a thicker vein or what. One of my biggest anxiety triggers are blood clots. I have a 36cm ovarian cyst drained vaginally yesterday and I felt fine, I came home and napped for say 2 hours and that’s when the leg pain started, I get this often and it does normally go away but every time it happens I can’t help but panic 😭😭😭😭😭 it’s one thing after another

may be from the position you were in. However, a call to your doctor wouldn't be

a bad idea in relieving your fears and suspicions. Wish you well xx

if your legs are bigger, the lumpy vein could just be a varicose vein. I actually had veins blow out due to having a child, being pregnant, when I had extra blood flow, but if you feel a specific lump, and it hurts in that area, if you have concerns about it, then you can definitely talk to your doctor. If you do have a blood clot, then you do want to take care of it. If it eases your mind, take a baby aspirin to increase the blood flow, if they honestly thought the blood clots were a issue, then they could put you on blood thinners to prevent them from developing. You have a follow up appointment coming from your surgery? Do you feel a specific lump or just a vein that is lumpier?

hey! It doesn’t feel like a specific lump just a lumpier vein! My legs still aren’t swollen or red or hot. Just have bad cramps and my calf feels almost like a tight sensation! I’ve never been offered blood thinners ect from the gp! Xx
