I don’t have friends, been suffering with Social Anxiety disorder and panic attacks for a long time, don’t know what else to say how pathetic my life is..anyone interested in being a friend?

I live in a small 10000 inhabitants toN in the western part of France. I am 46 years old and I loooove (Ok, I am French) beef tongue in tomato sauce, with gherkins.

Oh , and I am married and my wife's got a daughter.

I’m a student studying psychology..I live in India, Delhi, if u know..it’s metropolitan city..I’m 30 currently..I eat strict diet as I go to gym and have some fitness goals..i have difficulty maintaining relationships, so my gf left me long a while ..since then i haven’t been in relationship, kind of lost trust and hope..I assume u must be proud father.. tell me about ur daughter..how does she look? Does she resemble u more or ur wife? How active is she?

Actually, she is the daughter of my wife, not mine. And she definitely looks like her mum, much more than her dad.

She studies health and care in France, not far from Paris and, with her boyfriend, she's starting building her life, step by step, making some mistakes that we, as parents, try to solve.

It is important to have goals in life as you do have. But they need to remain reachable, or they will be torture and unpleasant. 10 small steps will always go further that a big single one !

What are your difficulties in maintaining those relationship ? Based on what you write here, it feels like you can not due to the sport. Is this the case ?

first of all sorry to reply so late..I have been suffering from cold cough and fever, I’m taking medicines..not because of sports but because don’t feel people understand me, because people don’t understand me I have put rigid walls..

First, you do not have any obligation or mergency on this forum. We all live at different timeframe (you are having lunch while I am drinking my morning coffee and writing this message) and, as it happens in human to human life, you can some days feel like you wanna talk to X and other days you wanna toalk to Y.

No problem at all with you responding with any deay.

I know the walls you are talking about. They are made of humor, sense of derision and word play. That way, people will never be angry with you, after all this was just for fun. Just for fun, yes, but also and only to keep them as away as possible.

Having a friend is like opening a small secret door thru this wall, where that only friend can come and meet the real yourself.

Anyone YOU let go thru this door must be glad and proud of doing this.

By the way. I hope your cold is now a past souvenir !

Do you celebrate Christmas ? I mean, either as a religious (not my case) or family event ? We will at my sister's this year for Christmas and, few days later (on the 27th) will fly to Tunisia with my wife to spend 5 days doing just nothing at all. But don't get wrong, our plan is to do it as professionnal of "nothing". Sleep, eat, swimming pool, sea, eat, swimming pool, sea, eat, sleep and start-over.

Life did not let us take any real rest for the last 24 months, we need that break.

And you, what are your holidays plans ?

for me walls are made of rage and anger..I have been having panics attacks for long time, I don’t think people understand this, it’s like u are faking..anyways..no I used to celebrate in different cities with friends but in my city, Christmas celebration is low key..how about ur side? No plans, I want to go outside like travel but without friends or people I know, sometimes it’s scary and honestly I have no friends..that hurts really a lot

I understand completely what you are saying - I spent for first fifteen years of life going through school with only ONE single friend. No-one wanted to know me and completely shunned me. I still remember that pain -I'll be 75 in January. I would very much like to be your friend, and hope you will be mine. I would also like to share with you, my friend, whose name is Jesus. Thank you Rishabh - There is only ONE GOD, each of us is on a journey to him, we have each chosen different paths to get there - I have many friends/acquaintances here in UK who are of the Hindu faith - others people of all faiths and of no-faith. It is a joy to share their stories and journeys of faith. I always worry when I respond to people in other countries, with different culture, and of other faiths, just in case I offend anyone with my words, so I always pray what I am going to say.
