Brilliant, this says it all. “What you see in others exists in you”, this really made me think. You can look at it two ways - when I see people I think most of them are outwardly confident and lead organised, fulfilling lives and don’t have mental health problems but I have learned over the years that all people have their own problems and “weak” spots and just don’t show them; on the other hand this made me think “I can be more like that” i.e. more confident, self-assured etc, that it does exist in me so am desperately seeking it….!

PS Ray, you should see my walls - even my bathroom mirror - all plastered with your positive affirmations….thank you so much xx I use Snapfish for photos and at the moment they give me 50 free prints a month so just take lots of screenshots postcard size and that’s just ideal! Don’t ask about new printer, still don’t know how to use it.

Hi primrose81 - All of us will at some time in our lives suffer through a great many traumas. It is in this suffering that we come to understand the needs of others. I believe that everything we go through is a gift from GOD, and in his time, he will enable us to come alongside others' in need. If we didn't have trauma and suffering- we simply wouldn't learn anything! I always rejoice in the negatives as they enable me to share the positive.

But most people cant get past the problem and need our guidance. They need people to show them they have the power not a third party.

The main thing is it helping you. All these messages go into your subconscious, and you start to change. and you are changing xx

These are words from the Bible - therefore they are trustworthy and true.

It can also be said, 'Children live what they learn, and learn what they live.

Good Parenting is therefore essential to a well balanced mind.

This is very true as well but I think peer pressure can be very strong. I know our son as a teenager had some lovely friends at school, at home he always wanted to be in the “in”(and to my mind the wrong) crowd - we could advise him, but it fell on deaf ears…the minute he got home from school he would be out with them and we were powerless to stop him…it is a long story full of pain and suffering but the positive is we have our son back the way he was and it is just so wonderful to see him his true self and happy again.
