Vyvanase

My doctor is changing my prescription from 30mgs of Adderall XR to 50mgs of Vyvanase. I was wondering if there was anyone here who has taken the drug and what there experience was while taking it?

Yes! hello! i’ve been on adderall xr and got switched to vyvanse and honestly the vyvanse works best for my adhd! I feel like the adderall worked at the beginning and then once my body got used to it didn’t seem to help alot. The vyvanse has been great! i noticed at the beginning i had some heart palpitations but they went away after a couple days. i also noticed a lot more focus on the vyvanse than adderall. i’m still on the vyvanse and i’m up to 60mg and it works great and keeps me focused throughout the day. i hope you have a good experience on it!

I took it many years ago as an add on for depression. I am currently taking concerta. It worked well with no side effects. I honestly don’t remember why it was changed, it may have been because it caused issues with atrial fibrillation.
