Daisy, I know there are some medications out there that I've taken that make me feel like I'm drunk after a couple of hours I'm not sure about the medication you're taking though I just hope you feel better soon

Awh Many Thanks Geinki. It’s used for many illness from what I read. My problem is vertigo from the neck and with me suffering with bouts of anxiety anyway, the off balance feeling was making me more anxious. Hoping these would work for me. Took one 5 mg. Seem to be ok, but have read some worrying reviews since, so not sure about taking another later. Might just try an antihistamine.

Hi Daisy, I'm on a high dosage of Gabapentin which is a nerve drug that helps with nerve problems and it's supposed to relax me but it makes me feel like I'm drunk and I also on bupropion Excel it's the highest well welbutrin And sertraline I've been taking these drugs for years and none of it seems to work for me anymore I'm not sure if it's because I have my psychiatrist is older but I've been told by several therapists and I need to see another psychiatrist but I've had him for at least 10 years but I've been struggling with severe depression and severe anxiety for 15 years or more and it's gotten worse the past years I think it's due to my work work issues I'm here for you if you ever need to have someone listen to you I'm not sure if I can give you good advice or anything but I'm here for you

hi Geinki, thank you for your reassurance, I’m always willing to listen and support too. Whenever you need it.

Me too battled Anxiety for years and bouts of depression. As I’m getting older it seems to be worsening too. It’s draining and exhausting. Difficult Life events come more frequently as iv got older.

Been in therapy for years. I use to work to much to keep my mind busy. But have reduced hours to keep my stress levels low.

I’m certain the vertigo isn’t from neck stiffness but Anxiety related. Morning anxiety is horrific. Being outdoors and nature helps. 🍂

Have never taken prochlorperazine but have taken antivert(meclizine) for vertigo and it helped. I didn't have any adverse effects. Hope you feel better!

hi,

Thank you for your reply. I only took the one. Lol … neck stiffness still but I am certain the vertigo is Anxiety related.

I have only started on Prochlorperazine or dizziness, and so far I am still dizzy. Doc said I need to be on it longer to get a result. I did notice that my hand now shakes which it didn't before. My symptoms describe vertigo, but doc hasn't diagnosed me with that, he did say my blood sugar levels were low.

UpdateIt did start to work however my lips went numb and I could no longer feel them. I dribbled. I took myself off them nearly 3weeks ago. My lips feel great now. My head doesn't.

Being outside, but, close to home helps when there is a breeze, because then stuff is supposed to move.

Being inside another building doesn't help, nor does being near busy roads. The extra stimuli knocks my equilibrium off for a good few hours.
