Models do it and tv presenters news presenters

I don’t judge guys who do but I’m more comfortable around guys who don’t. That’s just me.

for sure. Women can go without makeup and nail polish too. 😲

As someone who worked at Sephora for 3 years, my answer is emphatically yes! Since when the hell did makeup and nail polish become gendered? Dudes wore wigs and blush and in th 1800s what’s the difference now?

A lot of rock stars do. My grandfather had manicures and often wore clear nail polish. I say go for it.. 😎

they wore it in the 80s. They were called goths. Some did. Don’t British parliament and judges still wear wigs while in session?

I bet the middle class emergence stopped it. Who had time for that? Then women became arm candy at night.

I agree, but it has to be reciprocated, IMO.

Yeah, live and let live.

absolutely! I hate anything gender specific. When I was little I really wanted a G.I. Joe and I’m not sure if they still sold them but my oldest brother had one and gave it to me and no one batted an eyelash so there should be no reason it can’t go both ways. My nephew(the son of my oldest brother) wanted a Barbie doll and my brother got him one(my nephew is straight, has been with his gf forever and has a baby daughter himself). My parents were NOT in the same mindset as us kids. My mom wanted a girl sooo bad(I have 3 much older brothers) and I guess I was always in dresses and wanted to wear pants(Kindergarten or grade 1, I don’t remember any of this, my mom told me) and my mom didn’t want that. One day my dad brought me to school and then told my mom that a lot of little girls were wearing pants and she should get me some(she did).

I know there are old fashioned, religious or conservative people out there that don’t agree with it or think it’s not ok or “normal” but who cares what they think? I don’t like organized religion but I have religious friends and don’t like them less or judge them.

Hello 1sturgglewithptsd

I think men are as entitled to the same rights as women as regards clothing etc. I know a man who paints his nails and, as Vonus559 says, men wear makeup for TV. I had some applied when I appeared in a TV quiz. Several men wear earrings etc. I attended an LGBT meeting last night and the group discussed a growing backlash against people of different sexualities. While many people accept or tolerate LGBT people, there is a backlash. I suspect that some people will not tolerate men wearing makeup and painting their nails and such men may be at risk. I think this is unfair. I also think that the girls and woman protesting in Iran are very brave and that societies should allow people of both sexes to live and let live.

Yes, you can tell if someone is wearing makeup, but who would go up to a chap on a train and say "Are you wearing makeup?" Well it shouldn't be that obvious. Makeup is meant to enhance appearance, not totally change it, and that is the way female makeup is going, so you wouldn't recognise a person if you hadn't seen them with makeup before.

y’all are the best thanks for all y’all support
