Im going to call my health provider and seek help about admissions in a mental Hospital tomorrow my mind is overwhelming i cant allow my family to see me cave in like this the look on my kids faces they never seen me like this i always kept it hidden this too much 😥😢😢😢😢😢😭

If you need help it’s okay to ask for it. That’s not weakness, that shows strength and bravery. You’re willing to get help to try to get better. I hope you get the help and support you need.

OB73, we all need to do what is best for ourselves when the time is needed.

This time is about You right now. I too, years ago, choose in patient hospitalization.

I wanted to walk in and not wait until I was carried in. The crying spells and anxiety

were terrifying and I knew I needed help. I called my psychiatrist and told him to

admit me.

The best decision I ever made for myself. I asked for no phone calls, no visitors. This

was going to be my "me time" to work on my issues, my symptoms, my fears. Once I was

in the unit, I felt a comfort that I would get better. What I liked was the consistency of

each day. A structure which I didn't have in my own life at home. I spent every moment

meditating and listening to their helpful tapes. This was my life and I was going to be in

control of it again.

I wish you the best, you are doing the right thing. Stay positive, stay strong. You can and you

will come out of this a better person than when you went in. This is like having a

crash course on mental health. Give it your all. My thoughts are behind you xx

I've been hospitalized before and it really helped. Got the help I needed and was around others going through similar circumstances .
