Positive Encouragement

Workntowardsserenity profile image

Taking care of my mental health is very important to me. What I bring to the table is encouragement, and positivity. When it is not reciprocated, it brings me down. I just want to build a community of people who are not sarcastic, who say what they mean, and who can encourage me. Any love from the online community would be very much appreciated.

thank you in advance, :)

Encoragement and positivity are always good. I strive to be better, am generally positive, but lack energy. Do you have any tips towards becoming more energetic?

Thank you Roxylox. I can completely relate to having low energy. What has helped me is walking. Walking anywhere I can, on pavement, on dirt, on the beach, in the mountains, taking the furthest possible parking space at the market; it all helps me move, and in turn, moving helps me feel better and more energetic. 🚶‍♀️

My mental health has become the most important thing for myself as well.

Through my Meditation and Breathing, I have found inner peace and calm both

mentally as well as physically.

Welcome to an amazing forum of understanding and support. I have found my place

in life by accepting what I can't change and what I can. By seeing the positive things

in life. By not allowing anyone or anything tip that balance.

Life is Good. :) xx

Thank you Agora1 for the welcome and the reply. You have helped remind me that meditation and breathing is such a useful practice, allowing me to stay focused on what I can change. Glad to be here. 😊

Hi and welcome! If you're looking for a supportive community, you're in luck. You just found it! I like your username. My father (75 years old) has a saying framed on his mantle. It says "Silence. Solitude. Serenity." The older I get, the more I can appreciate the sentiment. Glad you are here and I hope you find your serenity!

Thank you RupertBrown, I love that. Sometimes life gets so hectic we can't hear ourselves think! So, I can appreciate that saying, Silence is helpful when I feel a bit overwhelmed or burdened with tasks, and the solitude gives me the choice to have the silence. So maybe if I can achieve those on a regular basis, the serenity comes afterwards. I'm going to write that saying down. Thank you for sharing that with us. 😊

Heh, glad you enjoyed that. I check in here almost daily, and occasionally post when I have something to say (or I'm at my wit's end!). It has been super beneficial to me and I hope we can do the same for you. They say "don't listen to yourself, talk to yourself". To me serenity is about tuning out all those negative voices and retaking control of the conversation, so to speak. Cheers and good luck! 👍
