Very true, although it's something I struggle with

MadBunny, I'm right there with you. For the most part, I've let a lot of the past go (mostly by staying away from my family)-but not all of it. Also, at times, something will trigger me to bring them back. But there's 1 I'm still haunted by, from when I was married, that no matter what I've tried (Therapy, Rx, Hypnosis, TMS, and others) I can't get rid of it/let it go. I have ADHD and the Rx helps with my Anxiety and Depression also-which is great. Until the Rx wears off 3-4 hours later. Then it's time for my next dose. But sometimes I delay taking my next dose because I'm busy with something and/or don't realize the other dose has worn off. Or when I realize I'm torturing myself. (Am I so used to the mental/emotional torture that it's almost considered 'Normal' to me? A part of my 'Programming'? Like an old friend? Hard to describe, but it's always Sh#tty).

This reminds me of a NLP exercise I've come to like called "Dissolving Bad Memories". It has to do with taking whatever serves you (a lesson learned, an opportunity to grow, etc.) from the bad experience and pushing the rest out into the horizon.

This link was given to me by someone else, so I can't take the credit for finding it -- just passing it on. He's wonderful, isn't he? His voice is soothing too.

Sounds ideal in principle even easy . But what if you have no idea what event or combination of events lead you to this anxious state ? I guess what I'm saying is if you can't figure the route cause and don't seem to have specific triggers how do you move on if you don't know what it is your moving on from ?

You have to work on meditation, self enquiry, get loads of programs on self help ! then the answers will come ! then you work on release. Ray
