Here we have "talasami" and "karakondzhuli" and they pretty much describe bulgarians. And their names sound funny. And we're so good at being toxic and emotional vampires that vampires originate from here. And the badnik (bathroom spirit) is pretty much everyone with tiktok in hte toilet
We have so much spirits that i'm starting to think i'm a spirit myself. Espessially with my sleep schedule

Hello, In Wales we have a Red Dragon. It is on our Flag, although it doesn't appear on the flag of Great Britain. Technically we are a separate country, our own Senedd (Senate), but it gets a bit technical with the politics. It's legend is that there was a prince who wanted to erect a castle on a hilltop, but the walls collapsed every night. Eventually, the prince called Merlin who told him that the walls would never stand as there were two dragons who fought each night under the hill, one red and one white. The workers dug in an opening and released the dragons, which fought, and eventually the red killed the white. This goes way back and in the legend the red signified Wales and the white, England. We are still waiting for the outcome to happen.
The Welsh folk can be fierce and Nationalistic, and there is low level rivalry with England and has been since we had the first Prince of Wales foisted upon us by, either King Edward or King Henry. Sorry, can't remember offhand.
Wales used to have it's own Kings, but no more. We do have a Prince of Wales, but he is English born, a scion of the German Royals from Queen Victoria. It gets complicated.
As a mining and farming culture, our spirits tend to be spirits associated with mines, and also farming. We do have a great set of Legends, called the Mabinogi, with horse goddesses and water goddesses, whose sons were Physicians of note, and travelling princes who were often also magicians.
