I'm tired of my insides shaking and having panic from being in pain all the time, should I go on Lexapro?

Yes, but I know its anxiety. I went through this a few times in my life, I finally was off all meds for a year and then I got Covid and now im in pain constantly and in panic mode.

I just don't want side effects to be bad do you know anything about Lexapro?

Was on citalopram twice before,similar anti depressant to lexapro/ escitalopram ….uk equivalent I think ….helped me get out of meltdown mode …no side effects that I remember tbh ….constant panic is a shitty place to be…..definitely give them a try

Okay, I will take your advise. I'm just scared to be on Xanax for to long but the doctor said once I start feeling better I wont need xanax but to take it for now.

Yeah although benzos are nice to melt into the chair with not good to get stuck on 😄….they’re a temporary sticking plaster short term ….best wishes

Propanalol (a beta blocker) is often used for the shaky feelings of anxiety. Some people find it really helpful.
