i am really sorry but please try to not be stressed and talk to your doctor ask him everything like small detail to large ones.

knowing about your condition may help u tackle your anxiety to some extent and ask him how u should change ur daily habits and nutrition diet and medications what can you do and what you cannot do , ask him every possible treatment..

information may give you some peace of mind rather than a fear unknown..

it is going to be okay, don't worry, and don't lose hope.

Thank you I still have to go see a neurosurgeon and they will tell me the next steps I guess

Right,as I said don’t be afraid to ask questions , the more you know about this the better, one good thing is now you know what you have you can deal with it and you will get the appropriate treatment , rather than worrying what is wrong with you.

I hope you can get the neurosurgeon appointment as soon as possible as I think this is going to be the only real way to reduce your anxiety. Try not to google, if you can. Also, keep in mind that if it was life threatening the doctor would not have let you go home. You would have been put in the hospital for immediate treatment.
