Do people actually talk on the phone anymore????

I get really fed up with all this texting business. I understand people have jobs and lives, but no one seems to have the time to actually talk to someone on the phone anymore for 10 or 15 minutes. Everyone is preoccupied with what, Facebook??? I can't stand Facebook. It makes a joke out of the word, friend. It's created a new word, frenemy. It's all just too much technology for me. Does anyone else feel like this????

I only have one good female friend right now, and she recently had some surgery done. Thought she'd want to talk at least a little while, but no, just texts. She might be going through a lot herself, but nevertheless, I feel blown off.

I do talk on the phone mostly with my sister. I have never liked talking on the phone because I have a hard time thinking of things to say. Texting gives me time to think and allows the other person time to think about what I’ve said. Plus I can send pictures, recipes as part of a text

I hate talking on the phone. I do it when forced to. I prefer to communicate via text.

I don't do face book or any social media.

I don't mind texting sometimes. It's just when it comes to some people like friends, I'd like to actually hear a human voice sometimes. It's very silent where I live.

I'm hard of hearing so I have a hard time understanding ppl on the phone. Plus I studder so I'm more comfortable texting.

I talk on the phone almost everyday for my job it’s about 10 hours 4 days a week and I check in on my parents and often call my friends. I can’t read emotions but can hear them even though I’m hard of hearing 😂. Apparently I’m raising the numbers 😂

I don’t have social media so it’s also my way of catching up and talking about memes and junk 😂

I know the feeling, hearing someone is nice and seeing someone face to face is even getting rare so I especially enjoy those moments.

I don’t like many people but the ones I do I’ll pester as often as they’ll let me.

Well that's ok. So many people are just all about just texting now, I just think it gets ridiculous. Like some people, I'm wondering if they lack communication skills because of it!!!!
