lexapro for menopausal anxiety

my doctor put me on lexapro because I've been having a lot of health issues that are stressing me and I've not been eating or sleeping she thinks it might be linked to menopause and I can't go on hrt so she suggested lexapro any advice or opinions?

I Just Take Midol! No, Little Humor. I think could be good advice. When I have a good rapport with a MD l’ll do it! Have faith; he my Dr! Hope that helps

thanks for the response i took my first dose bout 8 hours ago bit nervous but ill see how it goes

are you researching menopause? that might help... to know what other women go through. i had hardly any symptoms. my cousin has a ton. also they know a good deal more about what is going on in the stomach. when i understand the why i am usually better equipped to deal with it. also makes me feel better.
