Do I start looking again?

Got a job at a large corporate company. Thought it was a sign for bigger and better things, that 2022 was honing to be my year! I think I misjudged that. I’ve been there for 6 months and it is physically and mentally taking a huge toll on me. I feel like I’m drowning with no support. I tell this to my boss and he just thinks I’m complaining or exaggerating things. I talked to a big boss within the company, he just lost his EA. He said if I was interested to sent my resume. Should I?

But I also found out that during a reorganization during Covid the first people to go were the EAs. And that people have been hearing the words layoff recently. So idk what to do.

Think about having a career not a job. A career in independent from a company. A job is dependent on a company. So if you want to be an AE (which can lead to some cool stuff) then do it. If it doesn’t get you to the career you want don’t. On layoffs you will be laid off eventually. If you have a career you are in a much better position to find that next job.
