are there really people in the world who go a whole day without worrying about their mental health?
Of course there are people who don't worry about their mental health becausethey have other things on their mind...Positive things...and the fact that they might
never have suffered a Panic Attack or anxiety.
*Just plain ole anxiety that doesn't have a label attached to it as mental health.
I think when we are inundated with so much focus on our mind, body and symptoms,
how can we not think about it.
Meds are there to make us numb of those thoughts as well as therapy to address the
issues as well as put as back on the right path....However, as long as we need that help
we think we are sick...
Life comes with ups and downs, it doesn't mean something is wrong. We need to learn
in how not to try so hard to be happy. Go with the flow, let each day bring what it may
and learn from that experience. It's okay to be sad when things don't go the way we planned,
it doesn't necessarily mean that it is a mental issue. Sometimes I think we put too much
emphasis on every emotion we feel. Live and Love each day you're here. xx
Great reply Agora...as always... and I so agree that our stuff doesn't have to define us, we just have to find a way to learn to live with it.... key word here is 'live'....the flowers still bloom, the sun comes up, and the cat wants to be fed... this stuff becomes part of who we are, and we ride the tides... we have good days, and not so good ones, but we eventually come out of it again, and if I'm even just happisher... that's good enough.
I agree my friend... I smiled when you said "the flowers still bloom, the sun comes up andthe cat wants to be fed" We need to look around us more than into us. Happiness is out
there. Make it a great day fauxartist. We are what we feel xx
I felt like that when I was attached to too many support groups. I do think however that a certain amount of awareness is good for us, just not too much
