I have felt quite nonplussed about Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee until today, but i have suddenly bit the bullet and decided to celebrate with a Garden Party at my home for the local community, asking everyone to bring a plate to share together with their personal use beverage.
I have bunting and flags and no end of party assessories which i have salvaged from previous years,( yes we were party people) and entertained a great deal, but with the passing of my partner over 2 years ago i was in deep depression and had lost my mojo and a certain malaise set in,but suddenly i had a light bulb moment which told me i must get out of the poor me syndrome, and here i am and rarin to go.

What a great idea, and so lovely of you to organise it. I'm sure that so many will really appreciate it. And - more importantly - it's such an important step for you to take. I'm so pleased for you, that you feel ready to do this. Sorry - I hope you don't think I'm being patronising . I genuinely mean it 🤗
Good for you and go for it. You know what they say - if you can't beat them then join in and beat them at their own game. I am sure you and everyone will have a great time. Well done.
I will be avoiding it as much as possible as can't be doing with all that shite. I am no way a monarchist and object to them. A deserted island sounds good!
I think it's on until September so plenty of time. I'll take some photos. I must have a look to see what else is happening. I think I'll avoid London over the Jubilee weekend though as I still don't like being around large groups of people.
I will look forward to seeing them your photos it's a historic event I think the queen's struggling and hanging on until it's over she's so strong all she's been through and I'm sure she will live to see it let's hope so 🤗😽and after another shock this year with the war we need a diversion and something to celebrate bring on the party 😁

If you are worried about being forgotten about a start date give them a ring and ask!
When I was rung about my start date we were in a noisy funfair when the phone went!
Today I have had a quiet day and a walk as I had a hectic day out at Barry island yesterday with a 6am start!
Baby is fine and looking forward to her usual Monday treat!
I am excited about Tuesday but I'm nervous as well.
