I take meds and talk myself down quickly. After a lifetime of anxiety it’s easy to do. I go on YouTube and find humor or music that I like. Sometimes SNL or Bill Maher. I wait til it passes and it does. If it doesn’t, I talk to my doc and see if my meds need adjusting. I used to check into the local psyche ward, but it’s no longer needed. Moving the body helps too. Even if it’s just jigging around the house if you can’t go for a walk. I’ve heard a relaxation technique where you melt into the ground like roots do into the earth. There are tons of other suggestions in this community. Take a few moments out to read them. 😊

Read any books published by Dr Claire Weekes which teach you how to recover from anxiety. Acceptance is the key to recovery.
I’ve had every symptom in the book. And I’ve tried everything in the book except electro shock therapy. I wasn’t a good candidate for it because of some heart problems . Oh, acceptance does help because once you have accepted your diagnosis, you can begin the journey to getting better, which includes trying to lessen the impact of the illness so you can still function on a day to day basis. But i have a feeling that you have already accepted it.

Hi paplo I was like that 3 days ago had the worst anxiety felt shaky couldn’t stay still racing thoughts scared what I do is go for it walk it helps with the panic attack or chew gum how are you feeling now??

Hi Pablo,You are soooo not alone in how you feel. A few weeks ago that's how I felt.I had decided, because I allowed my sister to make me feel like a weakling , to go off some meds without the ok from my psychiatrist. Well fast forward 1 month later I felt like a crazy mess and he asked me please to NOT do that. I always find doing exercise, moving, walking helps. Good luck to you.💫👏💫🌻🦋
a walk, hot bath, lavender to breathe, music..you probably already know about these.I found the herb ashwagandha helps me. I had to take it for about a week and a half before it started working.
Sometimes if it's really bad I'll take a fourth or half of a hydroxyzine and just go to sleep.

It s an herb that lowers cortisol, stress. I ve taken it for years with natural antidepressants. It s sold on Amazon or health food stores. It has a long History in India ..it's an adaptogen, helps body adapt to stress.
Ill bet if I ask my wonderful pharmacist she'll say I can't take ashwa... because I'm not on natural antidepressants but the pharmaceutical ones!!!!!! But I'll check. Thank you very much.🌈🦋👏
