Try walking perhaps, music to suit your mood. Talk to your family about how you are feeling. Perhaps join a bereavement groupMake time for yourself. You cannot be Superman
Hi, when I feel like that I go for a walk and/or read books about how to work on methods for anxiety and depression, they do help. Doing nothing is not going to get you out of the mean spirit.
Maybe the first thing is to give yourself a break. You’re not Superman you’re not even Clark Kent. You are a dad …you are a husband .,,you are a mere mortal. Although I’m sure you are awesome, You are just a human being.
It also Sounds like You have a lot on your shoulders. You should get the same level of care, love and support that you provide everybody else in your family. Just because you are the husband does not mean that you have to suck it up and be strong for everybody. Testicles do not provide immunity against anxiety and depression despite what our society and culture tries to tell us. Your feelings matter too!! Your feelings are valid and need to be addressed.
Please reach out for help. Speak with your primary care and let them know you are struggling. You deserve to be happy.
In the meantime do something with your hands …get busy & keep focused on something or your mind will run away with you. Go play basketball work on a car make a cake clean the bathroom go for a walk wash the dog play with the kids read a book…. Whatever it is that you enjoy and that keeps your mind occupied.
Best of luck Dad.
