I have written an adult fiction novel before I got ill and am now trying to get it published. I studied professional writing at a postgraduate level. I have entered it in to the yeovil literary prize competition where the prize is literary agent introduction. I am also now writing a sequel. Do you have any advice on how to get published?

I use StoryJumper. Here's the link. All you have to do is click on it and sign up. I don't know how well it works on a phone because I use a computer. I would recommend using a computer if you have one. storyjumper.com/
You could join kindle direct publishing and they do print on demand, but either way you will need to find a way to market it. I just published a prompt journal for kids but need to learn how to market it(post announcements, with links on social media, I am not sure what else) . The traditional way to publish takes awhile. You get a writer's market book and send it out to publishers. Hopefully by email. I wish you well!
thank tou all for your advice on getting a publisher for my novel. i'm still writing away busily on my sequel and loving the process, especially the editing that i use to make every sentence beautiful.
Have a true crime novel which after 13 years, with my improvement of finances, because of retirement, am going to finally get self-published, not really a writer more of a researcher, but now feel confident to finally with help of friends collected along the years get published!🤗🤗
Thanks for your message. There.are lots of local literarycompetitions with literary agent introduction as prizes. I'm trying that before self publishing
