Hello everyone on here. Had such a rough morning with my anxiety levels. I had to make an important phone call for my Ins, and I got so much different information that I’m utterly exhausted and anxious. Wow!!!! Having a hard time. SAMSON

Morning anxiety!!!!!
Hi Samson, sounds like you've had a fraught morning....I used to have morning anxiety, from about 6am through 12pm I would feel anxious, resulting in stomach chills, shakiness. Crying and feeling generally scared to death. Luckily, after trying a few antidepressants my doc put me on Clanazepam and 100mg Sertraline. Plus 300mg Pregabalin daily. My worrisome thoughts were the trigger but I couldn't control them, and although I am calmer with less anxiety, the thoughts are still troublesome, so I may try CBT. I am a lot better than I was 18 months ago, but I never want to feel like that again.🥹
I'm so sorry you are struggling my friend. I usually don't attempt importantcalls early morning but rather wait for midafternoon when the adrenaline has
a chance to settle down. When we are in a state to begin with, we hold the phone
tighter, we tend to breathe more erractically and we prompt ourselves into a
state of panic. Breathe xx
I sleep all night till 6 am and that’s when I get hit with morning anxiety. They say the cortisol levels are the highest at wake-up. Don’t know how to control it. It’s definitely a battle as I lay there. I try not to fight it and just roll with it but it’s so uncomfortable. I finally get up but it stays with me through most of the day. Does anyone else experience this?
I'm the same way. When I first wake up in the morning my anxiety is peaking. I get right up and get some coffee and wait it out. It's usually a couple of hours before it gets better.
I hate making any phone calls except to my close friends. My voice breaks.
