Its good to Walk.
Yeah I used to walk up and down garden but stopped because cold - will now continue with meditation in mind - thank you !!!!
Something similar during 2020 pandemic, but 2021 bad reaction to AZ vaccine, now something like good weather coming up, just a walk 'around the block' late at night, with gregarious [luv that word🤔] clothing [stand out clothing] "it's that nerd Adlon out for his evening walk!" for the neighbours, excellent for getting rid of the daytime blues!😆😆
Oh If I was on holiday - definitely do late night and walking !
Walking in the dark, I once walked through Bury cemetery at 5 am pitch black brought shivers up my spine !
Make the neighbours talk thats the way.
The number of times on my rambles in the evening/night I would see a quick shuffle of the curtains "it's that nerd Adlon out for his evening walk!" you could almost hear them say!
Your welcome.
I always feel much better after a walk , even a short one , it all adds up 👍
I love to walk!
😥
Why the tears, are you okay? 😕 So sorry.
Sorry. The post triggered me and I commented without thinking. I miss -- so much -- being able to walk. I just took it for granted, and enjoyed the sunshine, the birds, the scenery, until it all went away forever. I really feel like I just took a happy post that cheered everyone and brought in hurt.
Please do not apologize. Of course this would make you sad. You did not spoil the post one bit.
NBP you did not bring in hurt. I understand these are just suggestionsthat all of us may not be able to do physically. Have you ever tried virtual
walking? It can put your mind in a state of peace as you walk through a path
of blue clouds, the sun, high trees above you, birds singing, white clouds etc.
I use to sit outside and just watch the trees gently sway in the wind as I
studied each cloud and it's shape. After a while, I would be mesmorized
by the beauty and wonder of nature.
Did you ever look up at the moon and stars at night and know that we all
are looking at that same sky bringing us together as one.
When we can't do something physically, we can take the journey with our
minds. Wipe your tears, don't be sad, you're not alone xx
You remind me of a favorite book, and a favorite line from that book.
"Je suis responsible pour ma rose."
I don't know what I'll find, but I'll search "virtual walking" and see what I see.
This is a Spring poem for you Nothing-but-pain. I see you love birds, movies and poetry.
I used to sit near the apple trees at my Aunt's house when I was young.
Walking home from first grade, I remember bringing Mom a fallen maple leaf. She ironed it between two sheets of waxed paper and saved it for me.
Thank you.
