I recently moved to south Florida with my wife and don't know anyone else. I've struggled with social anxiety for as long as I can remember. I would like to meet someone with similar issues so we could help each other through tough times.

There is an option to locate people near you on this site. It might be worth checking and reaching out to people in your area.

I had someone reach out to me that lives close by which was nice. Unfortunately I’m not ready to meet someone in person yet.

I have not met anyone from the site. I am quite guarded in person. Even with the people closest to me. But there are a few people I chat with on this site.

I have met someone from a different site a long time ago when I was young and inexperienced at dating. Yes a date. Went to where she lived and ended up in Illinois at a fair. The date did not talk the whole time. It was a very quiet 6 hours. I can get 6 hours of peace and quiet at home painting walls.
