I’ve only been taking 5 mg per day for 2 months and I take it at night before bed. I was taking 10 mg initially but it made me way too sleepy during the day. (Even switching to taking it at night). It’s been going OK but last night I woke up and the room was spinning —when I went to stand up I just about fell over. I had to try to go back to sleep sitting up. Now I am taking it very slowly I can’t turned my head quickly and I’m feeling very nauseous from the dizziness. Nothing has changed in my daily habits. Has anyone else had this problem with Lexapro?

I would call the Dr now. Or talk to the pharmacist. These are hideous side effects. Best of luck.
I’m glad you talked to somebody. That spinning thing sucks.
We have to be our strongest advocates. I had unrelenting vertigo for close to three months. It scarred me. My heart goes to anyone who spins. I still spin on a daily basis but not like it used to be.
Medication can be very helpful or not at all depending on our chemistry. I’m glad you spoke up and got that squared away. Continue advocating for yourself.
