I had eye surgery this past Tuesday for a retinal detachment. I have never had any problems with my eyes. Now I'm healing and having anxiety because I can't see out of my right eye yet. In freaking out thinking will this fix it? What if? What if? Has anyone else had eye surgery? Only respond with positives please. I'm am very active but feel like I can't go walk my daily 6 miles because first of all it's bitterly cold and secondly I don't want to damage anything with my eye. I wish I had a treadmill here at home that I could use. Look forward to responses.

These are questions to which only your opthalmologist can give you an accurate response. I had a retinal detachment in 1987 and they zapped it back into position with laser burns. No problems since then.
