How do I get through the holidays. Living at my apt alone. My grandma passed a week ago. I work everyday 8 days straight. The only reason I don’t work Christmas is being we are luckily closed. All my friends went home to families. My parents are finally finalizing their divorce. They have been separated 7 years. So good for them. But now moneys tight. I have to make rent January.

Suzhou, let me extend my deepest sympathy to you on the passing of your grandmother. It sounds like you are feeling the loss in many different ways including the divorce of
your parents. Living alone but being off work on Christmas can make you feel you
are all alone but know that you are not.
I understand that the money is tight and may not allow you to treat yourself that day.
Know that our virtual family of friends will be on should you need to reach out and
chat. Wishing you comfort on your day off xx
I salute you. You're doing what I wish I could do, supporting yourself and you have your own place. I am living with my parents after having my own apartment for a long time. Some unfortunate events happened to me, I don't have a car anymore either. These are rough times with this crazy pandemic. Everyone is feeling it.
So sorry to hear about your Grandma, and all you’ve been through , they say everything happens for a reason but sometimes it doesn’t seem like that , I hope it all turns out ok and remember your Grandma is watching over you, be strong, take care 😘
