Beyond anxious

Does anyone else ever feel like they have a force holding them down to the bed? I don't even what to move around in my room let alone go outside of it. I will just lay there quiet and still until I finally fall back to sleep, for 2 or 3 days sometimes, besides to go to the bathroom, and that is not until I can not hold it anymore.

Hi zekette that sounds like a really difficult situation to be in. Sending you lots of hugs. I hope you can feel better soon. From what you describe it sounds like depression. Depression can make people want to sleep a lot for days and not leave the house. It is the feeling that everything is hopeless so why bother even try fixing things or doing anything to improve your life. Do you know what causes this for you? Like what are your thoughts and feelings that make you want to sleep constantly? Are you afraid of facing life or feeling depressed about life?

I am afraid of facing life and sometimes I think I could just lay in bed until I die, but then usually the third day I realize it is taking way too long so I better just get up. My depression is always worse in the winter and especially around the holidays, and I'm just extra stressed in my life at the moment. My children keep me going though. Thank you for your kind words and your concern.

Sorry to hear. Its great that you get up out of bed even though you feel depressed. That can be a really hard thing to do when you are depressed. Im glad that you are able to do it. Kudos to you! Keep it up! I totally get that depression is worse in the winter esspecially bec there is less sun and the sun makes us feel happier. Is there any way you can take a few day vacation to a hot place to rejuvenate yourself? Also, i think it will be helpful to see a therapist and also maybe ask your doctor for meds to help with anxiety and depression. Klonopin and xanax works for me (its a short term medication that gives calming affects with in an hour. Most docs dont prescribe it for every day use only as needed basis) wishing you the best of luck and a quick recovery.

Yeah to me these are the common signs of depression. Well, you might think you are being lazy but that's not true. You are being depressed day by day. I will suggest you give yourself some time, work on yourself, Take professional help For counseling, Don't choose the medicine you don't need them. Otherwise, it will get worse. As for myself get help from here.ezcareclinic.com/depression... I am putting this link ezcareclinic.com/laziness-o... that might help you to understand and know everything about yourself.
