Has anyone experienced hypnic jerks I did just the other night was pretty scary it's almost like you get a fright right before your about to dose of and you suddenly awake also known as sleep anxiety ?

I have had that happen and it’s frightening! Sometime s I have weird mini body jerks/spasms when I am trying to relax my body too. I don’t know if it’s discharging energy or what. Hopefully fall asleep and scare awake doesn’t keep happening to you 😴
Sorry for the late reply it is scary tho it happens every so often must be because of anxiety
