Happy that you had good news today. I worked hard today so I’m grateful for what I was abldd we to get done but I am frustrated because I can’t seem to find any kittens to adopt … there are plenty of rescues that cost a lot I’m looking for a shelter where I’d pay a small fee.
Don’t get me on my soapbox ranting about how hard it is to adopt! 😁 We have such a rough go the last time we adopted our dog, I thought our only option was to go through a breeder which I would really prefer not to. Our problem was our last dog was off most preventatives because our vet thought it was taxing her geriatric system. The rescues all took that as a warning that we would not keep up with heart worm and flea/tick prevention so they turned us down. Even after I got a letter from the vet explaining why we did it; several rescues turned us down. And I’m a vet tech! It’s not like I have zero experience. It was crazy.
Okay, I got on the soapbox anyway. Sorry. I hope you find yourself a kitten. Can you look on Facebook or any place like that?
We have had a rough time looking for a new home and last month we succeeded after having initially wanted to have done this back in 2020 but decided to shelve those plans due to lockdown!
We have gone through the legal process of being evicted from our previous place which started back in the July of 2022 and only concluded at the end of last month.
Today I have had a job interview earlier on and met with my friend for a chat and a catch up and she thinks that moving has done me good and feels that it was the right decision and how we needed to get out of the inner city!
I've had better days, my low back started spasming yesterday but it's doing better today. I'm trying to take it easy and not over do anything. Amazing how painful it can be. Guess I have overdone it lately with my diy projects.
I've tried it and now doing heat and lots of Advil may go back to the ice. Yes I love doing diy stuff so got to get my back in shape so I can get back at it.
