Do prayers really work

I have given up on it because my son and I are still sick etc life isn't good to us . my son struggling and he isn't on meds so its hard on me . I can't keep living this way my child isn't happy nor do he make rational decisions. He gives me a hard time pray for him and I. I haven't been able to pray lately

Jesus is there for you all you have to do is pray to Him, and God this life is tough but its easier knowing that God and Jesus are with us

I am very sorry you are going through so much! There have been times when I've felt that I shouldn't pray anymore, but the truth is that it is very important to have a close relationship with God. God is the only one who can give us blessings. Whenever something good happens to us or when a person does something good for us, God is behind it. Your son's life is in God's hands. Your life is in God's hands too. Not talking to God is not good for us! You can always ask God to help you pray. I hope that He blesses you a lot and your son too.

What ever you wants to ask to the Almighty God, you should have faith. Another thing, Prayer to the GOD will helps to reduce our stress and depression. This will gives us more peace and Calm mindset. So you have to pray in your daily life, this will be helpful to your daily life.

You asked “Do prayers work?” Sometimes we fall into the trap of thinking that God is a “Genie” for wishing upon and this is not what prayers to our Father really are. Genuine prayer, to a loving Father God, are part of a relationship with Him. God speaks to us thru His word and we speak to Him thru our prayers. My prayer time/life is such an important part of my relationship with my heavenly Father. I sometimes ask for things just as I would my early Father but God knows what is best for me and He answers according to that and His will for my life. Prayer works to bring me into a closer relationship with my Father God. Prayer works as a two way communication between earth and heaven. The Bible says ‘the prayers of a righteous man availeth much.” Prayer works for me to bring me in focus and increase my awareness of the presence of my heavenly Father. Thanks for asking.
