Last night in bed i was boiling hot and so uncomfortable that i just had to get up and make a pot of tea and then have the 4th shower of the day.

I have always struggled in the hot weather, but now its quite chill its worse than ever,my pillow and PJ's were sopping wet and my hair was soaking.

I googled my symptoms and it often is due to anxiety, stress and worry, and so i must have been suffering these things all my life because its never been any different, and i so remember if out for a meal or any event, colleagues would get quite concerned, and its certainly very embarrassing ,and the more i thought about it the worse it became, and looking back i realise that this all started in early childhood, and those days i would not want to relive again.

''Feeling unusually hot and sweaty can be a sign that you're experiencing anxiety or are under a lot of stress. Your sympathetic nervous system plays a role in both how much you sweat and how you physically respond to emotional stress''

I understand your frustration oh so well. For a very long time I would break out in a cold sweat under stress. It tapered off until I was fifty. Then it was nightly for a while, but not due to stress. It came back with a vengeance when I caught COVID. Day, but mostly night. Covers on, covers off, covers on, covers off. Constantly changing night clothes and bedding. Blowing dry my hair in the middle of the night. For months. If what you’re going through now is very different than what you are used to, it might be an idea to get tested for the virus. Meds can cause excessive sweating, too. 🙏
