So I moved into college today. It was pretty easy I guess. It just feels weird. I know nobody, don't know where I'm going, and there's not really anything to do. I'm hoping that once classes start it will be better. I hope. If it doesn't, then maybe clubs will fill the void. If that doesn't work, I'm just going to commute next semester and work after class and during off days.

Move-In Day
Love! this is such a milestone and a new journey. Keep in mind nobody knows anybody! You are all in the same boat. Be open to new people -- this is a chance to explore. Don't be afraid to take risks as it is probably nothing like high school social scenes. Class is a perfect place to ask someone if they would like to form a study group. Joining clubs sounds like a great idea.
Congratulations on your move in and going to college! Many many people are feeling just as you do right now! It’s a big change to leave home and start college. Once classes start and you get going with school work and campus activities you will start to feel more comfortable. There are a lot of new students on your campus who are homesick or feeling very lost. Be friendly, they will be grateful and you will have many friends! 😊I went to a “commuter campus”. There were dorms but most people lived at home and drove in to classes. I feel I missed out on all of the fun of college. I wish you a exciting and life expanding time!
