I am a retired nurse. I had forgotten about this Star Trek episode.

Even in my early teens I was in uniform, as a junior volunteer with one of the UK Charities for First Aid, Ambulance and Nursing. (St. John Ambulance Brigade).

I've always been a carer in one form or another.

as nurses know....u were a nurse to begin with.....then on to school then into the cruciable.......nurses are not created in school.........nurses have been in every war every campaigner breaking their backs to ease the suffering of others.....

i usually dont talk about nurses because people generalize and twist what i say.....assume its due to appearance or other superficial things............ah no

its a brutal job........the hours the dedication the responsibilitees, anyting can go wrong and often the nurses get blamed....or thrwn under the bus or away......takes tons of education in schools and more on the job......exteemley tecnical and yet often do the hardest of holdin gpeople togeher or working with familes or all the compolicated emotional things that only they have the insight to do..........have a sixth sense for things...i can only stnad and watch in awe........those things never would have occured to me.....or how do they know what to say or how to comfort esp the risk of feeling for others.......would tear me apart .....they do it all the time every day.............then peple laugh if u say anthing............

brutal thankless job...miracle workers many

who gives people reason to get through physicla rehab ro over strokes or or or ...all the human elements that we count on....

who we work with.......is part of the job......good or bad

we look forward to going ot work ........due to certain people......

(or avoid others of cousre....showing how great the wonderful peple are)....

certain people......make a huge differnce

just being them .....
