Sertaline 50mg

Hi everyone, hope you all are doing great. I have started taking Sertaline 50mg again. I’m having a bitter taste and severe rashes after exercise or when get a bit sweaty it does go tho after a while. Also have a bit of runny nose and body ache? Any of you had this problem or is my anxiety causing a few of them. I know about rashes as when I stop it doesn’t happens.

Hi mikeeee2! Your symptoms could be side effects. Did your doctor start you out at 50 mg? If he did, ask if you can try a lower dose and see if that helps without the side effects. Good luck!

Yes it was straight 50mg and then 100mg Thank you I talked with my GP and he told me nothing to worry as due to its allergy and gave me medication for it.

stop taking them seek medical advice I took one tablet ended up at hospital with severe reaction.

I had a phone consultation with my GP he told me to take antihistamine and nothing to worry.

It is just my opinion, but my concern is taking another medication to deal with the side effects of the first medication. Isn't there another medication you can try where you will not have an allergic reaction?

Hi there, I told him today but he told me these are just heat rashes and said mental health is bigger worry than heat rashes so I took this one.

Yes I did today with my GP and he told me that it’s just heat rashes nothing to worry about.
