How many of us have been in that place, where negative voices get into our headspace and affect every part of us? I've been there more times than I can count.

I've said for weeks that I can't imagine the pressure Simone Biles is under.

Good for her for putting herself and her health first.

Simone Biles' vulnerability is beautiful and an excellent reminder that mental health is so important.

ETA: The USA women’s gymnastics team didn’t lose gold. They won silver. Let’s train our minds to flip the script!

These moments with Simone Biles and Naomi Osaka are so important for erasing some of the stigma associated with mental health problems. I feel so proud of both of them (and anyone else in a similar situation,) for being brave enough to speak out and put their own well being first.

Hi Soprano, IT'S ABOUT TIME THE WORLD REALISED THE REAL TRUTH!!!!Sorry for shouting but real life has its both positive & negative affects on all of us & I have nothing but love for both of the ladies who have put mental wellbeing ahead of what team America or sponsors want& what they need first.

Now if this last 15 months have affected focused sports people , how much damage has it caused the average Joe or Jane.

It's important that the sentence " Oh you'll get over it" is outlawed forever & worst part it's affecting our youngsters more than it should ever & I hope that being able to speak our truth can help the big stars come to accept they are human just like us all.

Beautiful post about other humans

No worries ... it's truly a 'shouting' moment when someone can go against the grain and stand up for their own health!

"Oh, you'll get over it" is one of the worst things to say to anyone. I'm all for outlawing it!

Also rather than winning or losing, they got to do & go where the Japanese were not allowed to be. This is a historical Olympics.

I don’t want anybody to suffer for my entertainment. I understand the blood, sweat and tears involved in achieving what any person has to endure for a great goal. I don’t want anybody to become ill because of it. ❤️🏄‍♀️ And I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels the same way.
