It's very sad not having people to talk to about depression. It is a very lonely feeling. Most don't understand the emptiness that's felt inside. It sucks the life out of you. That's why I share this with all of you.

I feel it too. If you'd like to chat one on one PM me.

Very true Doyg

However it is important you can talk to people who have positive feelings for you and allow you to express yourself

Ttry and consider any interests you have, this will divert your expressions of negative thought

I find if I divert my fears to something positive life becomes that little bit more enjoyable, this will be the beginning of a positive pathway

That's why I am a lot on this site. Unless you've been where we've been, people are limited in their ability to understand. It feels so lonely for sure.

That is the way it is.

That is the way life is, my problem I can only do so much outside because of my disability. People only see my wife in the garden alone, the problem is I need to restrict myself on what I can do, people can be such a pain in the neck and seem to make decisions that we should be able to do without asking if you have problems that reduce what you can do

Personally we do what we can do and work around things we cannot do. I have summer pruning to do in the orchard. It will take as long as it takes and that can not be put down to Lazyness.

We all have to work within our realistic parameters. We can dream of new horizons and assess as we go along. I don't wish to make myself plow through people and places that don't feel right to me, for the moment anyway. Lucky you have a garden, something I wish I had.

I had a garden last year. One of my greatest pleasures was to watch things grow. That is now gone.

I hope it helps? It's good that you have some kind of outlet, I think this community is great for that.

Feel free to share and share and share. It really is hard to explain to someone who has never experienced it. My heart goes out to everyone here.

Amen. The loneliness is painful but people are generally too self consumed to look in our eyes and truly see us
