My brother would’ve turned 46 years old today. He died of a drug overdose many years ago.
We should all be sitting around the table eating chicken fajitas and calypso pie, laughing at all his silly birthday cards and trading childhood stories.
I’m so sorry to hear this. I can’t relate to this but I know it must be very hard. I just recently heard a really heartbreaking song from my favourite artist. It’s written about one of his friends who also died of an overdose and the vocalist is actually the sister of this person who OD’d. I’m not sure if you like this style of music but it really touched me and I thought maybe it would resonate with you.
A heavy heart is understandable for your loss. I lost a sister 7 years to an overdose. There is only memories of what was and loss of what could have been.
I’m so sorry. I’ve lost many close family members. It’s so difficult especially on birthdays and holidays. Of course you must feel your feelings that is important. Also know that your brother would understand the sadness but would want you to celebrate his life happily as well. ❤️

Thank you for your kind words. I truly appreciate it. BTW, your kitty is adorable! 😍

You are so welcome. The photo is a computer generated to make the kitty look cuter. I’ve had cats all my life since I was 7 years old. Right now I don’t. I miss having a kitty but I’m also secretly enjoying not having fur all over the place! 😉😆
