For you guys who live in apartments yourselves or know people who do, what are the easiest ways to sell things in an apartment complex? Should I go with Craigslist? eBay? And what is it like to sell things when shipping items? How expensive is it to ship the items and is it worth it? Please let me know!! 👍

The best way to sell things in an apartment
Well it would help to know where you live and where you want to ship items to!
I suggest you try posting on the app Nextdoor.
Or try fb.
I recommend the NextDoor app or try Facebook Marketplace. I’ve had success with both.
Hi this is Shnookie. If U have art and need an appraisal, then a place like Heritage Auction, they do art, sports memorabilia, U need to be careful with Craig’s list. Do U know people who can help U manage the activity on EBay ? As 4 shipping U can go to a mailbox store who can weigh the item and give U a price for shipping and find out who they use and do a comparison I.e Fed Ex vs. next day 1st class mail.
Hi Alic1990 I am in the same boat to sell off my parents nice things. For the art and big furniture, I actually realized I could take advantage of local consignment stores - they let you store the item in their showroom and can split the sale fees with you if the item sells. Not bad. That way there is no shipping involved, but I am worried the furniture move will cost a lot. Firemen movers exist! On their days off. For other fragile items, I am using FB Mktplace that is specific to the smaller town neighborhood, because a lot of shady people coming over from wherever doesnt work for me. Just needs to stay super local. And then there are pawn shops for the priceless and obscure, again a local option. None of these involve shipping. I hope it helps.
I agree with the fb marketplace. I have sold a few things on there. Some people do that and they can't sell because they overpriced things but people will counter offer sometimes. Be patient with it. I like shnookie's answer too.
