Need therapist

I suffer from treatment resistant depression, GAD, and PTSD.

Since moving to Charlotte from Boston in 2015, I have been unable to identify a qualified therapist.

Hi Magnolia 79Does Charlotte have any type of directory of medical providers or a reference service. ? If all else fails many crisis centers have clinics that they are familiar with for referrals. You need not be in crisis to use them.

Don't give up. The right therapist made a huge difference for me. If it feels like it's not a good fit, it's not. I was with mine for many years, but moved eventually. You may have already tried this, or know this, but just in case: Online therapy via chat, phone, video call, has become very useful for some during the covid times. I was reluctant at first when we moved to new area and was not finding a therapist I fit well with, close to me. I tried the online and phone and have had success with it.
