Thank you to everyone. I was starting to get paranoid- I threw all the kratom away immediately. I did take 1/2 an Ativan prior to the job interview. I’m trying to get off the stuff. Anyone who answered- you racked up karma points. The job is at a residential psych facility for ages 4-17. I hope I can make a difference and also keep my mouth shut when a youngster is upset. Just mean to say Thank you! P.s. and make it to work on time lol.

I used Ativan to help with severe anxiety after attempting to stop Lexapro, but little did I know it was making matters worse. I was having strange thoughts and felt like I was becoming psychotic. So I did some research and it mentioned how serious the side effects are while taking and stopping the drug. My psychiatrist even told me that it is not a good drug to use because it contributes to dementia. So now I only use it to put out the fire of occasional anxiety.
